What is Provider Connect?

Provider Connect is an application that enables KHS to electronically interact with its provider network.  Provider Connect extends beyond e-Commerce as the latter is typically associated with transactional capabilities (order parts, computers, etc.) while eCura Provider Connect incorporates KHS’s business processes, functions and provider services.

The application enables KHS to provide its provider network with needed information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with minimal voice-to-voice communication.  Provider Connect improves the provider relationship while establishing stronger lines of communication, thereby helping to reduce healthcare costs.  The real-time access of data by this application was designed to help eliminate out-of-date information between KHS and its provider network.

Provider Connect requires only that a provider and KHS have a web browser (such as Internet Explorer, etc.) and a connection to the Internet in order to electronically interact with the KHS business process.  Provider Connect is designed to work in an Intranet, Internet or Extranet environment.

What are the requirements to access Provider Connect?

To access Provider Connect you need:

-      Internet Access

-      Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher

-      Web Address to the Provider Connect web based application

-      Login and Password given by KHS once provider is under contract with KHS.
